Long and thin green bean (30cm long) with a taste that approaches pea or asparagus, popular in Chinese cuisine in stir-fry and in soups. They also freeze well when blanched. It is a cowpea and not a bean plant: the stems are much thinner and climbing, and then produce pairs of bean flowers for several weeks. 75 days to maturity
Instructions | Plant 3-4 inches apart outside once there is no longer a risk of frost. Add ropes a few feet high on which they can climb and then extend horizontally. |
